Fulham Courtyard

Our clients had a young family and busy lives so wanted a low maintenance garden.

They had combined two Fulham terraced houses and also the basement, so had a triangular courtyard with a limited footprint, in which they wanted space to entertain.

We used bright coloured furniture and festoon lighting to open out and brighten up the space. We sourced aged feature pots, and designed bespoke planters both in metal and painted wood, which we filled with olives, a myrtle, a pomegranate and espaliered apples, underplanted with herbs and seasonal bulbs.

Our clients also had an unusual internal green house room, where the two houses met - in which we placed a wide variety of succulents, orchids and two indoor lemon trees for our clients to enjoy home grown fruit from.
